The VR series Vader Immortal for Oculus Quest will be officially unveiled at the event Star Wars Celebration, as developer studio ILMxLab announced recently. However, little is known about the contents of the Star Wars series. However, the title of a pending panel at the upcoming major event, however, hints at an interesting feature of the VR title. According to it, authentic lightsaber battles should become part of the VR experience.

Star Wars: Vader Immortal was first teased on the Oculus Connect 5 as the launch title of the upcoming Oculus Quest. Within the interactive VR series, viewers will be led to the planet Mustafa to immerse themselves in the history and backgrounds of iconic antagonist Darth Vader. The events revolve around the events between Star Wars – Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars – Episode IV: A New Hope, with some surprises promised for the fans. Screenwriter for the VR experience is David Goyer.
While information on the work remains scarce, a revelation date with a playable demo for the upcoming Star Wars Celebration event, April 11-15, was announced.
At the big event, the title of a lecture by David S. Goyer, Mohen Leo, narrative designer of Vader Immortal, and others point to interesting VR gameplay elements. According to it revolutionary breakthroughs in the representation of immersive elements are to be demonstrated and especially the lightsaber fights should be brought into the focus.
