The VR multiplayer shooter Space Junkies will be released on March 26 for PlayStation VR (PSVR), Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows VR glasses. Already before the official starting shot Ubisoft opens the virtual gates and invites the players starting today for free beta to pre-test the game with all features. In addition, all VR platforms can play together thanks to Crossplay.
Space Junkies – Open Beta with Crossplay from March 21st to 25th
In Space Junkies, players can compete against each other in orbital arenas in various game modes to demonstrate their virtual weapons abilities. So you can compete against each other either in single combat in duel, in the team death match or in two other game modes.
There are numerous weapons available, which are distributed at certain spawn points on the cards. You also have the choice between 15 different characters and six different pieces of equipment to prepare you individually for the battle. Depending on the style of play, you can play in close or long range combat to kill your enemies.
There are also six different maps to choose from. A progress system lets you accumulate experience points for each round played to increase your profile level and unlock new features.
Starting today, the official Open Beta for PlayStation VR (PSVR), Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows VR glasses. There should be no limitations to the official game, but give the community free access to all game elements.
As a special goodie, the VR title reveals crossplay support thanks to Uplay to allow all VR platforms to play together.
The Open Beta takes place from March 21 to 25, allowing players to preview the multiplayer shooter before the next release. The publication will take place on March 26th.
