Developer studio Vertigo Games and Wolfdog Interactive released the release date for the Skyworld VR strategy game for PlayStation VR (PSVR). According to the VR title officially on March 26 for PlayStation VR (PSVR) appear in the PlayStation Store. In addition to the classic gameplay of the already released PC version, the console adapter gets some extra features. This includes a progress and level system with experience points for the completion of single and multiplayer games for the activation of special rewards as well as an own leader board.
Skyworld – March 26 release for PlayStation VR (PSVR)
In the VR strategy game Skyworld you assume the role of a ruler who delegates his subjects with tactical skill. In doing so, you look at the field in a top-down view and collect resources during turn-based actions, build buildings, and engage in combat with your opponent. During the combat phase, the classic strategy setting transforms into a fast-paced mix of MOBA and card game. Here you use a prepared card set to decide the battle in your favor. The VR title features both a single-player campaign and multiplayer battles against real players.
In addition to the usual gameplay from the PC version, the PSVR version of the game is extended by some additional features. To ensure long-term motivation, players now receive experience points for completed single and multiplayer rounds as well as special daily quests. After receiving enough points, your profile increases by one level. In return, special avatars and other goodies will be rewarded.
There is also an own leaderboard for the PSVR adaptation of the game. New information on announced cross-platform support has not yet been released.
