Long been speculated about a VR glasses for the Nintendo Switch and now Nintendo will actually fulfill this desire and publish a Nintendo Labo: VR set, which turns the portable console into a VR glasses.
Nintendo Labo: VR set for Nintendo Switch will be released in April
The new set will be released on 12.04.2019 and Nintendo recommends a minimum age of seven years. Overall, the manufacturer has come up with six different cardboard glasses, two of which will be included in one package. The basic package consists of a blaster and an ordinary cardboard.
Even though Cardboard-VR is no longer a novelty, we can well imagine that Nintendo has come up with some nice games for the extensions. Nevertheless, you should be aware that the Nintendo Switch does not have a very good display for VR (720p) and also no positional tracking controls. So you can not move freely through the room with the VR glasses.
Do you own a Nintendo Switch and consider buying the cardboards? Or does this extension leave you cold? We would be glad about your opinion in the comments!
