Other platforms will receive an update a little later.
Polyarc’s Moss was an instant hit when it was released on PlayStation VR in early 2018. Players fell in love with Quill’s little hero and an adventure that allows them to save their uncle. Arriving at the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive a few months later, Moss was one of the first games confirmed for the upcoming Oculus Quest headset. But fans of the developer Polyarc announced that the good old adventure will continue with a completely new content. Today it was confirmed that the game will come out with completely new content to expand its presence on all platforms, arriving first on Oculus Quest next week.
In addition, there will be a lot of new content for Moss fans, which will be included in a completely new chapter of Twilight Garden for study. In addition to the new chapter, the player will have a new mini boss for the fight, new environments for studying, puzzles for solving, a character for talking, alternative weapons / armor to enjoy, and, of course, more history. New content is scattered throughout the video game and is available through portals that players find in the environment.
“Quest is a game changer for the VR industry, and what we look forward to as developers specializing in VR content. Its wireless head and hand tracking technology allows you to immerse yourself in another world simply by lifting and putting on the headset, no matter where you are, ”said Josh Stixma, chief designer of Polyarc in a statement.
“Now you can explore the quirky tale from home or on the go when you travel, commute, and visit friends or family. In addition, to make this experience even more magical, we updated the game. Now players can discover and explore new content hidden in the world of Moss. ”
As already mentioned, in Moss you have to control a small mouse named Quill, who is looking for his uncle. You are a benevolent creature who not only controls Quill and her actions, but also the environment. Therefore, from time to time you will need to run Quill around the levels, using your other hand to manipulate them and successfully complete it.
Moss will be the launch day game when Oculus Quest will be released next Tuesday, May 21, along with new content. PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift / Rift S, HTC Vive, and Windows mixed reality headsets will automatically receive an update in June.
