The horror title Five Nights at Freddy’s may well be released on the PlayStation VR (PSVR) in the near future. This is indicated by a recent entry at the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board), which classified the VR version Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted for PS4.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – VR Adaptation for PlayStation VR (PSVR)
Five Nights at Freddy’s is a 2014 indie horror game with a die-hard fan community. Within the horror game you play the role of a security man, who is responsible for the night watch in the popular pizzeria Freddy Fazbear. The main attraction of the fast food restaurant are three animatronic robots, which provide for the entertainment of the guests. But at night it comes to unsuspected misconduct and the resulting bloodthirsty murder urge in the animal-shaped figures.
Since the maintenance is expensive, you are the cheaper option as a night watchman and are tasked with always keeping an eye on the mechanical plush robots. Since electricity is just as expensive, you have only a small amount of electricity available for your job. Therefore, it is important to use light and door mechanism mechanisms wisely. If you miss a movement of murderous children’s magnets, this could have been your last night.
So much for the original, now we could expect a PSVR version of the indie hit in the near future. The ESRB recently tested the VR adaptation Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted for PS4, ranking the VR title in the TEEN category, thereby leaking a possible release.
The game description clearly shows that the VR version includes the iconic Jump Scares of the original, but adds original elements to the original game. In this way, you slip into the role of a repair service employee who not only monitors but also repairs the animatronics. But survival is paramount here as well, so a wrong step leads to game over. Meanwhile, however, the entry was deleted by official side.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted could expect us on time for PlayStation VR (PSVR).
