Developer studio Gearbox Software released the new update 2.0 for Borderlands 2 VR for PlayStation VR (PSVR). In addition to a number of hot fixes, performance upgrades and bug fixes, the new patch integrates the long-awaited support for the PS Aim Controller.
Borderlands 2 VR – Update 2.0 integrated PS Aim Controller Support for PlayStation VR (PSVR)
Borderlands 2 VR is currently available exclusively for PlayStation VR (PVSR) and has been voted Best PS VR experience by users on PlayStation Blog. Still, the community would like some additional features for the VR RPG shooter, such as the much-anticipated support for the PS Aim Controller or a co-op mode like the original title. While the latter is definitely absent, the recently released Update 2.0 provides for the integration of the target controller as an input device.
A new Borderlands 2 VR update is out today, including performance optimizations and bug fixes. So, WE NOW HAVE AIM CONTROLLER SUPPORT !!! Read more about the patch here -> https://t.co/JTMP2nzISt pic.twitter.com/w0xuDizH82

Within the menu you can set the input options for the Aim Controller individually. So even left-handers can easily access the controller. You can also choose the method of travel yourself. Thus, the forward movement is possible either by pointing direction of the target controller and pressing the stick or by looking.
In addition, further suggestions for improvement from the community were implemented. Thus, zooming in with the riflescope has been optimized, adding a new option to show the crosshairs and the Scope window.
Of course, the mandatory fixes and performance improvements are also part of the update. You can find the complete patch notes here in the official Gearbox forum.
Borderlands 2 VR is officially available for PlayStation VR (PSVR) at PlayStation Store for $ 49.99.
