At the current PAX East, Gearbox Software is having a blast. Not only did the Devs announce the continuation of the Borderlands series with Borderlands 3 for PC and console (but without losing a word about VR), they also announced joyful news for the VR adaptation of Borderlands 2 for PlayStation VR (PSVR) , Accordingly, all previously released DLC’s for the original game in the form of an update in the summer for free to appear for the VR version. Further news about VR should also follow.
Borderlands 2 VR – Free update brings all DLC’s in summer
Developer Studio Gearbox Software recently released Update 2.0 for Borderlands 2 VR and added some improvements to the much-anticipated support for PS Aim Controller in the game. But the developers do not pause and announce at the PAX East already the next big patch for the Lootshooter in the Space Western setting. Already in the summer, the next update will integrate all previously released DLC’s for free into the VR title.

The DLC’s include Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campagin of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep and Psycho Pack and the Headhunter packages.
In addition to the new content further suggestions for improvement of the community are brought into play. These include Quality of Life Changes and optimizations on the HUD, height conditions and bug fixes. Also teleport options and performance should be improved. In addition, announcements were praised to VR. Speculation is based on a release for PC glasses, which could appear at the same time as the new content patch.
In the repertoire of changes for the successful VR shooter is now missing only a multiplayer mode to share the fun gaming experience with his friends together. Since the VR title, however, is intended from the ground up as a single player, this probably remains a dream.
