The eighth season of the epic fantasy series Game of Thrones based on the novel series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin is imminent. From the 14th of April, the season starts at the conclusion of the story and the fans can hardly wait for the eagerly awaited end, around the icy battles between the Night King, Jon Snow and the living in Westeros. To further stimulate the hype, a new collaboration between HBO and Magic Leap is now releasing a GoT-AR experience called The Dead Must Die: A Magic Leap Encounter for the company’s AR glasses. The Magic Leap experience is, however, for the time being exclusively presented in selected AT & T stores.
Game of Thrones – Magic Leap and HBO feature “The Dead Must Die: A Magic Leap Encounter” at selected AT & T stores
In The Dead Must For the first time, users are allowed to immerse themselves in the virtual Westeros in order to get in touch with a White Walker in the icy cliffs behind the wall. Rather, on a confrontation course, because the undead are anything but friendly to all living. In the role of a soldier, armed with a torch, you meet the dangerous adversary in a snowy MR environment.
There was only one thing that was now.

This is made possible by a partnership between HBO and Magic Leap to introduce the AR experience with the company’s AR glasses. However, the experience is not intended for your own four walls. For the time being, the MR experience will be presented only in selected AT & T stores in the USA, but in style in a dignified setting.
Valerie Vargas, SVP for Marketing and Creative Service at AT & T announces the collaboration with enthusiastic words in a statement:
“This is the biggest television event in recent history, largely due to the show’s passionate, loyal and dedicated fan base. To celebrate this fandom, and even as fans, we have developed unique experiences on all our platforms that only AT & T and HBO can provide. With this campaign we want to celebrate the great fans of the show and their place in pop culture. “
The show will kick off in Boston on April 1, starting in Chicago on April 3 and in San Francisco on April 6. As a result, the GoT MR experience will be available until June 10th. Further locations are to follow in Los Angeles and Dallas.
