Shadow Legend quickly became one of the most anticipated upcoming VR RPGs of the year, despite the small team and limited budget. When the game was announced, and then demonstrated in a subsequent trailer, it looked clearly for a certain type of gamers, it seems, for fans of fantasy adventures in VR.
Today we can confirm that Shadow Legend will be released on Rift and Vive next week, February 21. The PSVR version of the game is still being prepared for release at the end of the year. Vitruvius, the developer of Shadow Legend, announced the release date using two very different trailers.
The first trailer demonstrates a dark, shadow world full of enemies and dangers:

Shadow Legend is paid as a relatively linear RPG adventure, which should last about 5-6 hours in total. It’s hard to say what the gameplay will look like on trailers, however VRcue expects it to be a virtual experience with a lot of variety.
