If something can be said about the virtual reality industry (VR), it is that its fans do not lack new headsets. HP Reverb came out quite recently, while the Oculus Rift S and Oculus Quest will hit the shelves later this month. And, of course, let’s not forget about the Valve Index. Today, the Chinese manufacturer of headsets Pico has released its new device Pico G2 4K for use in enterprises in North America and Europe.
The headset is designed exclusively for business use. The new Pico G2 4K is equipped with an LDC display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, with a refresh rate of 75 Hz and PPI 818, everything works on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. It will weigh 278g, the helmet has 32GB of storage memory (can be increased to 256GB with MicroSD cards ), 3 degrees of freedom tracking (3DoF), plus compatibility with Pico and Viveport.
Despite the small amount of content shown for the Pico G2 4K, it did look amazing on the new 4K screens.
In addition to the launch announcement, Pico also launched a new partnership with Headjack, which develops applications and business solutions for the VR market.

With Headjack, we felt that our current and future business partners can easily create and develop VR applications with their tools, ”says Leland Hedges, commercial director of Pico Interactive, EMEA in a statement.
“After hearing about Pico’s VR headsets from our customers and their desire to create content in a proprietary environment, we did some research on Pico Interactive and saw the perfect synchronization between our tools and Pico equipment. We were particularly interested in their native Kiosk mode, which is in each headset, and were amazed at their latest G2 4K VR, ”adds Cohen Kraivanger, Headjack Commercial Director.
