The release date of Arizona Sunshine-The Damned DLC is now known.
At Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2019 this week Vertigo Games announced their next major virtual reality project (VR) Until Down. But that’s not all, the studio is working to make the Arizona Sunshine flagship experience even more affordable by porting it to the Oculus Quest autonomous headset.
There are quite a few developers excited by the wireless freedom of Oculus Quest and Vertigo Games with Jaywalkers Interactive are no different. The Oculus Quest version will include the same features as the Oculus Rift or PlayStation VR, with a story campaign that can be enjoyed solo or with a friend in a co-op. An endless multiplayer Horde mode will also be available, allowing up to four gamers to team up against hordes of zombies.
“We are pleased to bring the Arizona Sunshine to the headset of freedom and opportunity this year,” said Arjen van Heck, programmer for Vertigo Games in a statement.
“This will be a virtual experience that players have loved so much, fully transferred to Oculus Quest.”
Moreover, Vertigo Games has confirmed that Arizona Sunshine – The Damned DLC will be released on Oculus Quest, the addition shown a couple of months ago will be the largest prequel for the video game to the main storyline. There, you and the US special forces team need to activate the massive dam generators of the Arizona hydropower plant to restore energy supply for the military’s nuclear missile systems.
Arizona Sunshine- The Damned DLC will be released on August 27, 2019 for all supported platforms, check out the new trailer below. Vertigo Games did not disclose the release date for Oculus Quest, simply by reporting that it will occur in 2019. Since it will include the DLC, most likely, the version for Quest will be released after the release of the DLC.
