During the presentation, PAX East Gearbox Software announced Borderlands 3 with a great debut trailer. However, there was no mention of VR support for the new game. Instead, they discussed the recently requested addition of support for the PS Aim controller. The developers then confirmed that all past Borderlands 2 DLCs will be released this summer for Borderlands 2 VR.
This is important news for fans, because when he launched Borderlands 2 VR, he not only lacked support for the PS Aim controller, but he also looked deprived without any DLCs. Now, finally, this misunderstanding will be corrected, and even in virtual reality.
After this announcement, the developers promised to provide “more information about VR”, but they stopped before revealing more news. So, a possible VR port for PC will appear in just a few months. Probably around the same time there will be releases of the announced DLC, so the game will debut on all platforms simultaneously.
Obviously, the big missing feature is still the lack of support for multiplayer. But, in fairness, it is worth noting that the developers have always talked about the purpose of the game exclusively for one gamer. So it is likely that such a long-awaited function will never be introduced.
