Angry Birds come out on the Rift and Vive with a new game

Resolution Games and Rovio Entertainment have released a new game on the Angry Birds franchise, and this time it is made from scratch specifically for virtual reality. The Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs puzzle with bird shooting at pigs is already available on the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. You heard right, the arcade goes to the PC, ignoring Gear VR, Go and Vive Focus.

The game has more than 50 levels, created not just taking into account the features of virtual reality, but initially for it. The player takes a slingshot from one of the birds into his own hands and destroys three-dimensional fortresses with self-confident grinning green pigs. Locations can be viewed from different angles, developing an effective strategy for obtaining stars.

Resolution Games is a developer and publisher. The studio performs the same roles in the project “Angry Birds FPS: First Person Slingshot” for Magic Leap One, as well as in the games “Bait!”, “Bait! Arctic Open, Wonderglade, Narrows and Solitaire Jester.

In the coming months, the publisher plans to release the game on “additional VR platforms”, and also promises to update it, adding new levels and modes. Currently you are given four types of feathered ammunition and two classes of enemies. In other games, the series of content is much more, so there is no doubt about the further development of the project.

Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs is available for $ 15 dollars in the Oculus Store (Rift only), Steam and Viveport.
