Is it too quiet for the PSVR?
Sony’s virtual reality helmet has proven extremely positive this year, especially with releases such as Blood & Truth. But we were so focused on No Man’s Sky VR that we forgot about the new releases that await us at the end of the year.
It turns out that there are quite a few of them.
We’ve put together some of the most beautiful PSVR 2019 games to be released this year. There are only a few games presented by Sony itself. These are the projects that should be released before the end of the year.
Judging by the reaction on the Internet, Espire 1: VR Operative is probably what most of us are looking forward to the end of the year. This VR stealth game is essentially Metal Gear Solid 2 in VR. It provides players with a dizzying amount of options to sneak through the levels. Although we have not seen how the game looks on PSVR, the Quest version looks good, which
gives us hope for the success of this project. The game will be released on the helmet of virtual reality from Sony on September 27.
Doctor Who: The Edge of Time
We saw a great animated short VR movie for the Doctor Who universe earlier this year, but now it’s time for the main event. Developer Maze Theory is working on VR’s narrative experience, which is a journey through the Doctor Who universe. You will visit different times and meet cult villains, solve puzzles and go in search of the doctor himself.
It’s hard to believe that a golem really comes out. This debut project from former Bungie developers at Highwire Games was announced before the release of PSVR itself. It was supposed to be launched at the beginning of 2018, before at the last minute the developer announced a delay of more than a year. But now we know that the game will be released this fall, and we are still intrigued by the first-person view and unique story. Let’s hope the game meets expectations.
The PSVR version of Gorn is still under construction, but will be released later this year. On PC, Gorn is one of the most brilliant and engaging VR games offering a clean slaughter. You literally cut your way to victory through the big guys and thugs.
Iron man vr
Iron Man VR feels a bit of a technical miracle. Despite limited PSVR tracking, the game does a pretty fantastic job, allowing players to destroy enemies directly from the air. However, we only saw a very small fraction of what was planned. According to the developer, the game is a complete adventure with its own story. If Iron Man VR really comes out this year, we hope to learn a lot more about this project in the very near future.
Very soon we will release the second part of this material. Do you want more interesting PSVR games that are really worth trying out this year? Then stay with VRcue.
